I would create a Baruch forum for people who have or are
attending Baruch or work at Baruch. In this forum individuals can have sub
topics such as a food section, dating section, or general rating of professors
section. Post will be made by individual who attend Baruch. Individuals can
post up information and they can do it anomalously if they wish to do so. Baruch
students can log on to this page like how they log on to blackboard to get the
most updated information regarding school events or they can check out what
other students are talking about in school such as new food places or the next
big events that a club is hosting.
That's a really good idea, especially since there are a lot of students who have no idea what is going on at Baruch. It might encourage more people to get involved in school activities.
ReplyDeleteI think this sounds like a great idea! This is my third semester at Baruch and I am still clueless as to the existence of really good food places around the area. This forum would also be very helpful looking at upcoming events going on in the school. Someone who has huge gaps in their schedule could plan accordingly and kill time at an event currently going on.
ReplyDeleteI really like this idea. From reading posts from others it seems like many people want to use new media to help Baruch function more efficiently. Hopefully someone will take all these good ideas and make these ideas into a reality!
ReplyDeleteI like this idea because it will be a virtual community where all students can interact with each other. Also, Baruch has so many nearby food places and it would be great if there is a list or reviews of cheap and good tasting food left by our fellow students. Students can even give advice or ask questions to each other on school topics. Since this will operate more like a social forum, it would be a great place to meet new people.
